Blue Moon Hemp is relatively new to the CBD scene. They were established in 2016 under the mission of “destigmatizing hemp” and creating a quality, affordable product for everyone. Although they are newcomers, they already boast an impressive 1,000,000 bottles sold. Based in Florida, they recently expanded to the UK with offices in London and Northern Ireland.
Blue Moon Hemp is a retailer and wholesaler that finds educating the public about the wonders of CBD and the hemp plant an important responsibility of CBD shops. They do an excellent job covering all of the bases of CBD terminology, effects, dosages and more.
Blue Moon Manufacturing
Blue Moon Hemp is entirely American made with their plants grown in Kentucky and their products manufactured in Florida. They use hemp plants for their CBD products and a CO2 extraction method to retrieve the cannabinoids from the crop. Blue Moon Hemp is broad spectrum meaning their products may contain other cannabinoids besides cannabidiol. All of their products contain zero THC and are 100% free of solvents.
Blue Moon hemp uses a VG/PG ratio of 70:30 for their vape juices (vegetable glycerin/propylene glycerin). And all of their final products are organic, non-GMO with a shelf life of 2 years.
Blue Moon CBD Products
Blue Moon Hemp has a slightly above average selection of products. They offer shatter, edible gummies, salves, tinctures, dog tinctures, and e-blunts. Blue Moon Hemp is far more well-known for their effective CBD vape juices. Their low cost, original, and come in varying strengths from 100mg to 1000mg in 30mL bottles. This is what we thought of their flavors.
- Black Kat
The Black Kat is one of the most original flavors we’ve tried. It’s a blend of breakfast and dessert with a jam-packed flavor profile of Lucky Charms, Breakfast Cereal and Marshmallow Milk. The taste altogether is very pleasant; they did a good job with this flavor considering how difficult it is to pull off. The only downside is a somewhat stale aftertaste. - Flan
The Flan was executed perfectly by Blue Moon Hemp. The vanilla is the star of the show with balanced swirls of caramel. It smells and tastes like a cake that is fresh out of the oven. The Flan is very smooth and has a very strong presence. - Kush
The Kush has an earthy flavor profile. It tastes very natural with undertones of hemp plant and a stronger CBD oil flavor. The effects of this one were very strong and almost immediate. - Pure
The Pure is kind of similar to Kush but much sweeter. It’s also a lot less overwhelming in terms of the cannabis flavoring. It’s very herby and almost tasted like rosemary at some points. - Red Devil
The Red Devil is the only fruit flavored product on Blue Moon Hemp’s vape juice line. It tastes somewhat like a variety of berries. There were hints of strawberry with a strong flavoring of guava. All in all it was very delicious; it’s a little tart which balances out the sweetness.
All of Blue Moon Hemp’s flavors are strong and somewhat unique compared to the other flavors on the market. Their flavor selection is somewhat standard, five is typically the average for most CBD companies. For the quality of the product, I would say Blue Moon Hemp is giving you a pretty fair deal. Our favorite was definitely the Kush. It is really difficult to pull of the natural flavor profile, but Blue Moon Hemp did it perfectly.
